Sai Noi Beach
A lesser-known hidden beach, “Sai Noi Beach,” is a small and incredibly tranquil beach near the “Ao Nang Water Reservoir.” It features fine sand, and it is like having a private beach due to its secluded nature. What stands out are the rocky cliffs that extend into the sea, with sculptures of the “Phra Aphi Manee” and “Nang Nueak” on the rocks (the origin is unknown). If you want to climb the rocks to admire the view and take photos, you should be cautious. The beach area has shops and beach chairs for visitors to relax. For those who prefer a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend visiting Sai Noi Beach.

Suan Son Pradipat
For those who enjoy tranquility, come here to “Suan Son Pradiphat” located on Phetkasem Road, Nongka Sub-district, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Just a little past the Royal Park, turn left (watch for the PTT gas station), continue straight, cross the railway, and at the third intersection, turn left and then right. You’ll arrive at Suan Son Beach, which is under the supervision of the Royal Thai Army. It is a lovely pine tree-lined beach, with the breeze blowing gently. The beach is wide and long, with clean sand and clear waters, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. You can have a picnic, lay out mats, lounge, or simply sit and unwind. Inside, there are welfare shops, restaurants, stores, and cafes, along with shower and restroom facilities, all available for your convenience. Moreover, there’s a Bryde’s whale skeleton for us to admire. Enjoy your time here!

Rajabhakti Park
Rajabhakti Park is a historical park located on Phetkasem Road, Nongka Sub-district, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It features the statues of seven Thai kings, positioned prominently on pedestals, visible from afar. The statues include King Ramkhamhaeng the Great, King Naresuan the Great, King Narai the Great, King Taksin the Great, King Chulalongkorn the Great, King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII), and King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). This park, built by King Rama IX out of deep love and respect for the Thai monarchy, serves as a place of veneration and to honor the seven great kings of Siam. Additionally, the park offers a beautiful garden and a museum exhibiting the royal history and contributions of the seven Thai kings. When in Hua Hin, it is a must-visit destination to admire the grandeur, beauty, and capture cherished memories. There is ample parking space available.

Pranburi Forest Park
Pranburi Forest Park is located in Paknam Pran Sub-district, Pran Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, approximately 18 kilometers away from Hua Hin, with only a 20-minute drive. It is an area protected and managed by the Office of Conservation Area Management, Branch 3, Phetchaburi. The park spans a vast area of 700 rai (280 acres) and features a clean, serene white sandy beach, shady and lush mangrove forests, and abundant tropical woodlands. Within the park, there are various attractions for tourists to explore. The “Pala Beach Nature Trail” stretches for 1 kilometer and offers a wooden walkway for visitors to observe and learn about the natural resources, photograph picturesque fields, glimpse at crabs, and observe mudskippers. The “Bicycle Trail” allows visitors to cycle and enjoy the scenic natural views. Prankiri Beach is another area where you can take leisurely walks, enjoy the breathtaking views, feel the sea breeze, and see the panoramic sights of Kao Kalok and Singto Island in the distant sea.

Three Sugar Palms At Paknam Pran
One of Pranburi’s famous landmarks that you shouldn’t miss is the “Three Sugar Palms” at Paknam Pran. The “Three Sugar Palms” stand coolly on the seaside of Pranburi Beach Road. They have a quirky and twisted trunk shape, combined with the picturesque seascape in the background, giving you a feeling as if you were at the seaside in Santa Barbara, California. So, it’s said that if you come to Pranburi and don’t make a stop here, it’s like you haven’t really been here. Travelers often come to stroll, admire the view, and take photos to create memorable content. If you’re in Hua Hin, just drive a bit further to visit this place and surely capture some beautiful pictures before heading back home.

Thao Kosa Forest Park
Adjacent to Pranburi Beach, there is another nature park called “Thao Kosa Forest Park” or locally known as “Khao Kalok.” It is under the supervision of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, just like Pranburi Forest Park. This place serves as a relaxing and peaceful destination for tourists. The terrain features rocky hills by the sea, offering a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfect for sitting back and enjoying the sea breeze on a picnic mat, having a picnic with family, or even taking a refreshing dip in the sea. As for the origin of the name, the hill’s shape resembles a coconut shell, leading the locals to call it “Khao Kalok” (which translates to “Hill of the Coconut Shell”). Besides the beach area, there’s also a viewpoint on top of the hill. To reach it, one must climb the stone stairs with rope handrails for support. Caution should be exercised while ascending as some parts can be steep. At the top, the panoramic view is simply breathtaking, akin to a scene from a romantic movie.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park
About 60 kilometers from Hua Hin, driving for 1 hour, you will find Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. It is a coastal park that combines islands in the sea, covering 2 districts: Sam Roi Yod District and Kui Buri District. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Most of the terrain is limestone mountains and there are 6 islands. The limestone mountains here have been eroded for a long time, creating many large caves, namely Tham Phraya Nakhon, Tham Kaew and Tham Sai, with beautiful stalactites and stalactites inside. The distinctive feature of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is the west side is a flooded plain, the middle part is a steep limestone mountain range. and to the east is Thung Takad, adjacent to a sandy mud beach. making it a source of many rare plants including endangered wildlife There are many interesting tourist attractions in Sam Roi Yot National Park, such as Khao Daeng View Point, Sam Phraya Beach, Phraya Nakhon Cave, Bueng Bua Nature Study Center, Laem Sala Beach, Kaew Cave, etc. There are nature trails, cave tours, plant viewing, bird watching, and boat trips. Khao Dang Viewpoint
Khao Dang Viewpoint is considered one of the most stunning viewpoints in Thailand. It is located in Khao Daeng Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. To reach the top and enjoy the panoramic view, you need to hike approximately 400 meters to the north of the park office and then walk for about 320 meters, which takes around 30 minutes. The trail consists of dirt and rocky terrain, and some parts require caution. You might have the chance to spot wildlife like monkeys and other animals foraging for food. Once you reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree view, including the Three Hundred Peaks, Three Pagodas Pass Beach, Khlong Khao Daeng, fishing villages, and houses. I can assure you that the fatigue will disappear once you see the stunning scenery. The best time to ascend and enjoy the view is between 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM. During this time, you can witness the sunrise, and the weather is not too hot, making the hike more comfortable.

Phraya Nakron Cave
Phraya Nakhon Cave is a beautiful cave located within the area of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is a large cave with a historical significance, and its ceiling features a large hole that allows sunlight to shine through, creating a stunning and picturesque view. Inside the cave, you can find the Kuha Karuhas Pavilion, a magnificent and intricately designed pavilion built during the reign of King Rama V in Bangkok and later transported to this cave. The pavilion was constructed to commemorate the king’s visit to the cave and is now considered an ancient site. Although visitors are not allowed to enter the pavilion, they can take photographs of it from outside. The best time to witness the most beautiful illumination of sunlight in the cave is between 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. You can visit the cave throughout the year, but we recommend the period from December to March, which spans from the cool season to early hot season. To reach Phraya Nakhon Cave, there are two options: you can drive to Bang Pu village and then hike across Khao Thian mountain and continue by boat from Bang Pu Beach to Laem Sala Beach, and then walk to the cave.

Bueng Bua Nature Education Center
Take a break and explore the fascinating attractions at Bueng Bua Nature Education Center, located within the area of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Here, you can immerse yourself in nature and admire the beauty of various lotus species. The center features long wooden bridges over the water, providing picturesque views surrounded by the stunning landscape of Khao Sam Roi Yot mountain range. The area is a significant birdwatching spot in Thailand, where flocks of birds play and search for food. Apart from the lotus flowers, you can also find other aquatic plants such as water lilies, water chestnuts, and reeds. It’s an ideal place to stroll around, take photographs, and enjoy the fresh air. The center is open every day from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. We recommend wearing a hat, long-sleeved shirts, and sunglasses when visiting during midday, as the sun can be quite strong.

Sam Phraya Beach
Another beach worth visiting within the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is “Haad Sam Phraya,” located about 5 kilometers from the park’s headquarters. This beach offers a delightful atmosphere, connecting to the Gulf of Thailand. It is peaceful, providing a serene and tranquil experience. The uninterrupted coastline creates a shady and pleasant environment, with cool and refreshing sea breezes. You may encounter various species of coastal birds during your visit, and if you’re fortunate, you might even spot a Dusky Langur coming down from the cliffs to find food. This natural behavior is typical of wild animals. Moreover, the beach area offers camping grounds where you can pitch a tent for only 30 baht per person. Additionally, there is a ranger station with four guest rooms available for accommodation. Each room can accommodate two people with a rental price of 1,000 baht per night.
