Cave Beach Club

Cave Beach Club by Cave Beach Club

A café that I must recommend is the incredible Cave Beach Club. It is a beachfront café that combines Balinese and Bohemian styles, creating a seaside ambiance with a touch of minimalism. The decorations incorporate natural materials such as driftwood, machinery parts, and bamboo. As you walk in, you’ll encounter a stone pathway lined with surfboards, which makes for a popular photo spot. If you turn right, you’ll find a white building resembling a Santorini-style bar, complete with a water bar and rows of seating. The view of the sea in front is absolutely stunning. The seating area offers two options: indoor with air conditioning and outdoor, which includes both shaded and open-air sections. The café serves food, pastries, and beverages, with a highlight being their freshly baked cakes made daily. Don’t miss the opportunity to try them. Regarding photo opportunities, every corner of the café is picturesque, so just come dressed beautifully, and you’ll have plenty of photo spots. Another landmark of Pattaya is the “Khao Chee Chan Buddha Statue” or the “Buddha Mountain.” It stands out from afar with a large golden Buddha image engraved on the face of Khao Chi Chan, a limestone cliff. The Buddha image measures 109 meters in height and was constructed in 1996 during the reign of King Rama IX, as a tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and a commemoration of the diamond jubilee. It was created to honor the beauty of Khao Chi Chan, which had been damaged by explosives during the construction of an airstrip for the United States Air Force in support of the Vietnam War. The seated Buddha image is depicted in the Subduing Mara posture, imitating the Sukhothai-style Buddha image combined with the Lanna and Lan Na art styles. In front of the image, there is a pond and a beautiful garden. Additionally, there are designated areas for visitors to pay respects and enhance their spiritual well-being.
